Peterborough Town have made it to the last four of the ECB National Club Twenty20 tournament (after two near misses at the quarter-final stage), Finals Day is Tuesday, 9 September at the Northants County Ground.
(Here's how we got to finals day)
Schedule
Semi Final 1 - 11.15am:
Ayton v Chester Boughton Hall
Semi Final 2 - 2.40pm:
PTCC v Ashtead
Final - 6.30pm
Any support is appreciated, parking for spectators is through the Abington Road entrance.
The game is now no longer being shown live on Sky Sports, but there will be an hour's highlights from the day televised at some point.
Club captain Lewis Bruce spoke to the Peterborough Telegraph's Alan Swann:
“We have a few things in our favour, most notably the venue,” Bruce stated.
“We have done well at the County Ground in recent seasons. It’s a place that we know well and it will bring back some good memories.
“That knowledge will hopefully make us less nervous than the other teams, but we also have a pretty formidable record in the National Twenty/20 competition.
“We’ve only been in it for four years, but we’ve won 23 of our 26 matches and beaten some outstanding sides on the way.
“I can’t believe there will be a better side in the competition than West Indian Cavaliers who we beat in the East Midlands Final.
“And we’ve shown we can win in any conditions.
“The wicket we played on at Wanstead in the National quarter-final was awful, but we showed we have the character and the temperament to play in difficult circumstances.
“I’m confident that having got this far, we can now go all the way and win it.
“I’m not taking any notice of the fact that Ashtead have been playing second division cricket as they must have lots of quality to get this far.
“Chester have some Cheshire Minor Counties players who are known to us, but the other teams will also look at our record and see that we have some very good players who perform well on the big stage.
“We will enjoy the day though whatever happens.
“We want to put on a good show and obviously we want to win, but getting this far is a fantastic achievement, especially after a couple of near misses in previous years.”
