More success at Peterborough Town 2013 awards night

Club legend Ajaz Akhtar lifted the Peterborough Town Saturday first XI player-of-the-season prize after the final Northants League Premier Division campaign of his career.
Akhtar was also handed life membership of the club in honour of his 28 years of service at Town’s annual presentation night by 1st XI skipper Lewis Bruce at the Bull Hotel in the city centre.
Ajaz will play as a professional locally next season.

Opening bat Alex Mitchell won the Sunday 1st XI and Saturday 2nd XI player-of-the-year awards.
Sunday second team player of the year was batsman Martyn Gibson
Bowler Farhan Adil won the Saturday 3rd XI award.
Farhan, along with Nadir Haider, Will Horrell, Scott Howard, David Sayer were members of the Hunts 2000 squad that recently toured South Africa, more from the Peterborough Telegraph
