Peterborough Town Cricket Club play the England PCA Legends on Friday 28 July 2023. This is some information for spectators attending the match:
We are delighted to be hosting the PCA England Legends XI and we hope everyone attending enjoys their day. It is important to highlight that Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH) is the Club’s chosen charity for 2023 and funds raised will be donated to the hospital and to establish a Trust fund in the name of Karishma Patel, the sister of one of junior cricketers Aakash, who sadly passed away last December.
Date: Friday 28th July 2023
Start Time: 4pm. The coin toss will take place at 3:30pm. Spectators are welcome to arrive from 2pm.
Format: 20 overs a team
Match Venue:

(adjacent to the City Hospital)
Directions:
Exit the A47 slip road following signs to the City Hospital. The hospital and ground is 500 yards after exiting the A47 on Bretton Gate. Turn right off Bretton Gate into the hospital and the ground is on
your left.
Car Parking and Cost:
Car parking is free on site. You will be directed to appropriate spaces by our marshalls. Players and guests for lunch will be able to park on the ground. We also have adjacent overspill car parking which our marshalls will direct you to.
Admission:
FREE entry for all spectators. Any donations towards GOSH will be greatly appreciated.
The pedestrian entrance to the cricket ground from the car park will be adjacent to the Clubhouse and the hockey pitch as well as the side entrance on the road leading to the overspill car park.
Programme: A souvenir programme is available to purchase on the day. Cost £2
Seating: Seating at the ground is limited. Please bring your own chairs and blankets.
Food and drink: Clubhouse and outdoor Greene King bar. Clubhouse selling food and there will be a BBQ located. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought on to the ground.
Toilets: 4 portable toilets will be located on the ground. Spectators are kindly asked not to use the toilets in the Clubhouse as these are reserved for players, officials and guests.
Off Field Entertainment: Junior softball cricket matches for U9s and U11s will be taking place from 12:30pm through to 3:30 pm. Hospitality will be taking place in the VIP marquee from midday with lunch served from 1pm.
Raffle: At the entrance to the ground we will be selling raffle tickets / squares and programmes as well ashaving GOSH charity donation buckets. We do hope that spectators will be generous with their donations for the charity the Club is supporting in 2023.
